Mia Chiang
President
I am a Junior at Kang Chiao International School. I have participated in 10+ MUN conferences in various roles, and this conference is my second time chairing a NEMUN conference. I aim to serve professionally as a chair while creating a fun and comfortable environment for all the delegates. With a great passion for psychology, I love diving into how the human mind works. Besides MUN and academics, I enjoy making new friends, listening to music, and sleeping all day. She cannot wait to meet everyone, and feel free to reach out at miachiang215@gmail.com for any questions!

Charles Yang
Deputy President
I am a junior from Kang Chiao International School-Taipei Campus. I had 10+ MUN experiences as a delegate, AD, chair, DG, and Sec-Gen. For those new to MUN, I want to say this: don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Making mistakes is part of the process, and every debate is a chance to grow. For experienced delegates, I encourage you to refine your skills, embrace leadership, and guide others to create an environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute. Teamwork is essential—every perspective matters, and great debates are built on collaboration.
Beyond MUN, I am deeply involved in neuroscience research, the iGEM community, and our school’s student council. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing badminton, watching Netflix, and sleeping. As we move through this conference, I hope each of us takes the opportunity to truly make our voices heard.
