Astrid Lu

Head of Academics

Hello there, fabulous delegates and participants of NEMUN! I'm Astrid, and guess what? I've been given the delightful task of being your Head of Academics for NEMUN 2025. Let me introduce the epic tale of my MUN journey. Once upon a time, in a conference room far, far away, I stumbled into the magical realm of Model United Nations. This magical world has sharpened my negotiating skills and greatly enhanced my public speaking abilities. Along the way, I've met incredible people who, like me, are eager to make the world a better place. That same spirit of collaboration and innovation is what brought me to NEMUN. Think of the importance of cultural diversity when tackling global issues: our committees are the perfect blend of MUN wisdom gathered over the years and practical empowerment of today’s youth. As your Head of Academics, I'm here to ensure you navigate this conference without hitting any intellectual potholes. The anticipation of watching you engage in heated debates, demonstrate creativity as well as argue in finest refined manners is indescribable. Together, we'll craft an unforgettable experience that boosts our knowledge and nudges us toward becoming proactive global citizens.

Welcome fellow delegates. I’m Zack, the Co-Head of Academics, and also a fellow Instagram reels enthusiast. I’m currently a junior in NEHS. I look forward to meeting you guys in NEMUN 2025. NEMUN has been a conference that brings together delegates from both international and public schools, and this is exactly what I hope to achieve in this year’s conference. NEMUN is where different debate styles, ideas and perspectives clash. With beginner-friendly and advanced communities, all delegates are sure to find something for themselves. Brian Lu

Co-Head of Academics

Hello and welcome to NEMUN 2025!!! I’m Brian Lu, a junior from NEHS. I’ve been given the wonderful opportunity to serve as your co-head of academics. Looking back at my own MUN journey, even though I am an extremely introverted person, I learned and gained a lot from one conference after another, even made some friends and had some fun along the way. Although some might say that Model UN is nothing but a waste of money, I truly believe the opportunities that it offers are irreplaceable. NEMUN 2025 is a platform that allows people from various backgrounds with all kinds of perspectives to take different stands, debate, negotiate, compromise and eventually reach a consensus (or not). Throughout this two day conference, I sincerely hope that all chairs and delegates find it to be a memorable experience, can’t wait to see you guys in May, regards!

Beccera Lo

Head of Administration

Welcome to NEMUN 2025!
My name is Beccera Lo, a junior at NEHS, and it is my deepest honor to serve as your Head of Administration this year. Throughout my MUN journey, I have learned many valuable lessons and made huge progress in communication and negotiation skills. If I hadn’t decided to join MUN, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing friends who have inspired and motivated me over these past two years. To me, MUN isn’t just an activity—it has given me much more than I anticipated. It’s always a special experience to socialize with innovative people and push myself to find solutions. My passion for MUN has grown far beyond participating in a club, and I couldn’t imagine my school life without the companionship of MUN and the close friends I’ve made along the way. NEMUN is an important step in my MUN journey. It helped me build confidence and find my devotion, inspiring me to stay dedicated to NEHS MUN alongside my companions in 11th grade. I hope you all can find your own love for MUN and create your own highlights during this year’s participation. As a member of the NEMUN 2025 organizing team, I will do my best, alongside our team, to provide delegates with a memorable conference experience. Delegates ily<3

Welcome to NEMUN 2025! I’m Krosa Liu, a junior studying at NEHS. It is my great honor to serve as your General Affairs and Finance Director & Admin Head this year. I started my MUN journey a year ago, and it has been one of the most unique experiences in my life.
